Don Swanson
Senior Vice President
Don is the Senior Vice President of G. Swanson Construction.   He began his career as a union carpenter working for the company in 1988 alongside his father Gary Swanson.   After completing the union’s carpenter apprenticeship program Don then earned a B.S.  in Construction Management at CSU Chico.

Today he provides leadership and control of day-to-day operations, strategic planning to ensure company growth, and support to an exceptional project management team.   Positive intention, exceptional service, comprehensive construction knowledge and integrity are the key drivers that have helped Don succeed in the industry.
John Caruso
Vice President
John is Vice President of G. Swanson Construction.  He has over 20 years of construction management experience covering a broad range of projects including commercial tenant improvements and ground-up construction, LEED certified projects, retail construction, and mixed-use development.

As a project team leader, John is instrumental in defining the project structure and schedule, managing the project from planning to close out.   Additionally, he enjoys maintaining relationships with several key clients as well as developing new partnerships.  John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University and is also LEED BD+C accredited.
Missy Teague
Missy joined G. Swanson Construction in 1986 and is currently the company’s Controller.  With more than 25 years of financial experience, she brings her dedication and organization to work every day.  Missy is responsible for overseeing all areas of finance, including accounts payable / receivable, job costing, cash management, and general ledger.  

She helps develop company policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with business regulations, tax laws, insurance requirements, and industry standards.
Kevin Kahler
Senior Project Manager
Kevin has 20 years of project management experience covering a wide variety of projects.  With a range in value from $30K‐$6million, his past projects include tenant improvements, ground‐up construction, lab retrofit projects, structural upgrades, and analysis and mixed‐use development.

His overall construction knowledge and practiced procedures has granted him success with permit expediting, project scheduling efficiency, and a complete understanding to fulfill the needs of the client.
Jason Avery
Senior Project Manager
Jason serves as a Project Manager with G. Swanson Construction and has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry.   He started his construction career with residential projects and eventually moved into commercial building and tenant improvement renovation projects.

His attention to detail and ability to proactively provide solutions before they become problems is one of his many strengths.   Jason has a B.S.  Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
Gina Resz
Office Manager
Gina has been a part of the G. Swanson team since 2001.  Originally an Administrative Assistant, Gina ensured all Project Managers were supported with clerical tasks pertaining to various projects.

Gina is currently an Office Manager, and her responsibilities include payroll / payroll taxes, employee relations, records, reporting, managing project subcontracts, and subcontract change orders.   She also serves in a close, supportive role to the financial controller of the company.
Aaron Hamilton
Project Engineer
Aaron is a Project Engineer with G. Swanson Construction with 10 years of experience in the industry.  He works collaboratively with project managers on all aspects of a job, including proposals, pricing, project start-up, material procurement, scheduling, and closeout documentation.

He specializes in expediting permits, purchase orders, and submittals.
